Returns & Refunds

Every print is made to order from your own race data, so each one is unique to you. Because of that we can't restock or resell a returned print, and we handle returns a little differently from an off-the-shelf store. We stand fully behind the quality of what we make.

If something is wrong with your order

If your print arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered (wrong size, wrong frame, a printing error, or a mistake on our end), we'll make it right with a free replacement or a full refund. Just email hello@thefinishframe.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. No need to ship the item back unless we ask.

Personalization mistakes

Because your print is built from the details you enter, please double-check your splits, finish time, name, city, date, and division before you order (the live preview shows exactly what will print). We can't refund a print for a typo in the data you submitted. If you catch a mistake, contact us within 2 hours of ordering and before it enters production, and we'll do our best to correct it or cancel for a full refund.

Change of mind

Since prints are custom-made, we don't accept returns for change of mind. If you have any doubt about a design, size, or frame, reach out before you order and we'll help you choose.

Cancellations

Orders move into production quickly. If you need to cancel, email us as soon as possible; we can cancel for a full refund only if the order has not yet entered production.

Lost or stuck shipments

If tracking shows your order lost in transit or badly delayed beyond the estimate, contact us and we'll investigate and reprint or refund as appropriate. See our Shipping policy for timeframes.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. It typically takes a few business days for your bank or card issuer to post it.
